If you’re on a reduced budget Hotel Don Juan, on the south east corner of the square, can provide you with a basic roof over your head for only Q35 ($4) a night. The rooms are pretty basic and there are definitely no hidden extras but they do have private bathrooms (squeezed into the corner of the room) and fans, and there is a very green and pleasant courtyard with benches around it. Dollars are accepted. Right next door is the restaurant Café Portal.
