The three hotels Hotel Gran Estefania, Plaza Maxine and Villa Zona, all in different locations around the center of town, are all owned and run by Dr Quijada, a very welcoming and enthusiastic hotelier who speaks English and Spanish. All rooms have private bathrooms, hot water and cable T.V. but there are a range of prices available, with Villa Zona being the cheapest (in the 2a Avenida budget zone). The Gran Estefania has two pools and two kitchens for client-use, as well as restaurant if you’re not planning on doing your own cooking. Singles, doubles and triples cost between Q250-550 ($30-52). Dollars and credit cards accepted.
