There is a very small border crossing from El Florido, Guatemala to Copan, Honduras. The crossing is mostly traversed by people looking to visit the Copán Ruinas (Copán Ruins), an archeology park with Mayan ruins that is just one kilometer (0.6 mile) outside of the town. The checkpoint it open 24-hours, but it is wise to allow plenty of time to cross the border during daylight hours.
The easiest way to cross to Honduras is on public transportation. A bus or private van will unload passengers just before the checkpoint so you can walk across the border. At the immigration office, you will have to show your passport but it will not be stamped. There is no fee for leaving Honduras or to enter Guatemala, however you may be asked to pay unofficial fees—which can amount up to $20 per person. The best way to avoid fees is to pay attention to whether or not travelers in front of you are paying and what amount they are spending. If you are asked to pay, ask for a receipt and your fees may be magically dropped. If not, remember that a proper receipt will have the country's emblem on it.
