V!VA User‘s Description

Río Dulce refers to the river itself, but also collectively to the twin towns of Fronteras and el Relleno, located on either side of the bridge that crosses the river as it joins Lake Izabal. Both towns have acceptable places to stay and eat, and make for a good base from which to visit the river, lake, Castillo San Felipe and more.
