Río Sarstún - Boating Livingston - Guatemala

Serving as the natural border between Guatemala and Belize, Río Sarstun is a nationally protected area managed by FUNDAECO, an environmental NGO, and home to a number of local families, a visitor’s center (where guests can stay overnight) and a great place to experience nature at its best. There are hiking trails, mangroves and lagoons to explore as well as bird-watching and sport fishing. Contact the travel agencies on the Calle Principal in Livingston to organize transport here.
