If you like being in the center of the action, the location of the Hotel RÃo Dulce couldn’t be better. Right on the main street and just up the hill from the dock, this recently renovated hotel does not have a phone, a T.V., Internet or air conditioning but it does have bags of old school Caribbean charm. The ‘bungalows’, which are more like wooden chalet-style rooms, have their own bathrooms and cost Q150 ($18) for 2 people; private rooms are Q60 ($8) and dorm beds Q40 ($5) both with shared bathrooms. All have fans.
