

Tapado, the fish soup famously from these parts, is the thing to try here, as well as pan de coco. If you’re wandering around town try going south on 6a Avenida and between 12a and 13a there are two other restaurants to try, Antojitos Doña Mari, a grilled meat shack, and Charlie’s Snacks, a Mexican place with a terrace. There is a group of comedores by the market and there is the usual Pollo Campero in town. A couple of pretty nice restaurants can be found on the seafront in the Barrio Rastro, the place to go if you’re looking for a night out.
