Most visitors will want to stay in Flores, as opposed to Santa Elena, as the hotels tend to be better and the town itself is a lot more fun. Santa Elena features hotels at each end of the spectrum: the cheapest of the hostels as well as the fanciest deluxe hotels are in Santa Elena, while Flores offers attractive mid-range options.
