Nueva Juventud ecological park

Volunteer Petén runs an ecological park that travelers can visit for free. When you arrive in San Andres, call them or go to the library close to the Municipalidad. Open every day from 7 a.m. til 6 p.m., the 60-hectare park has a well-maintained trail. The park's main purpose is to teach the students of San Andres about forest management, ecology and the flora and fauna of Guatemala.
