Plaza Oeste - Ruin - Guatemala
North of Temple II is Plaza Oeste, where a considerable late-Classic temple is buried under the earth. The entire area is yet to be restored, allowing you to see it through the eyes of the first explorers who had found the ancient city. At the southern corner of the plaza, the crumbling rocks of Temple III can be seen peeking through layers of roots and vegetation.
