Museo de Arqueología e Historia de San Pedro Sula

For many, one of the highlights of a visit to San Pedro is its excellent archaeological museum, considered one of the best in the region. Flanked by two large, impressive old cannons, the museum houses an extensive collection of pre-Hispanic artifacts from the surrounding area. While not an essential stop, if you like museums this is a good one. Closed on Tuesdays. Open 9am-3pm Sunday, 9am-4pm other days. Entrance is free the first Sunday of the month, otherwise 10 L per person.
