Copan has a well-established tourist industry, and as such offers a wide-range of accommodations to suit any budget. Nearly all of these can be found within a block or two of the main square.
If you're looking to meet people, your two options are The Green Apple and Don Moises Guesthouse. ViaVia, The Green Apple's sister hotel, offers private rooms and also has a friendly atmosphere conducive to making friends.
The vast bulk of Copan's hotels are midrange options, and the town is dotted with hotels offering fairly standard rooms for between $25-$35. At the top end of the spectrum, the Marina Copan lounges imperially on the plaza's northwest corner.
