Probably the most popular hostel in town, The Green Apple offers friendly staff and comfortable beds, though not much else. Surprisingly dull compared to the rocking atmosphere of Via Via, this affiliate hostel drew the ire of some travelers during our visit for their strictly enforced 11pm curfew. Still, Green Apple remains a reliable and cheap option, and an excellent place to meet people. Space is limited, and it may be best to book ahead during high season.
