Copan Ruinas is a small town, but it has enough activities to keep you busy for days. The ruins are definitely the highlight of the area, followed second by horseback riding and third by the hot springs. There are several other museums and interesting tours, in particular the Finca El Cisne is worth at least a day. The area also has other more traditional day activities, such as zip-lining (www.hcanopytours.com).
