Just down the street from Hotel San Juan is another, somewhat scuzzier budget option. Rooms are basic: a fan, a bed, a bathroom and, if you're lucky, a window. Still, at 150 L it's a reasonable option for the budget traveler. It's quite secure and relatively clean as well, though mind you don't go wandering by yourself late at night.
