When to go
San Pedro Sula is not a place particularly known for festivals or celebrations. It's culture is modern and businesslike, lacking the traditions of other, more historically significant towns. If you enjoy clubbing, try to arrive for a weekend. Zona Viva has some great discos, but they only fill up on Friday and Saturday. The city's dry, hot season runs from April to September, the rainy season from May to November.
