Since the city is not a major tourist draw, it shouldn't surprise you that San Pedro Sula lacks the concentration of tour operators you'll find in towns like Utila or Copan Ruinas. Travel agencies around Parque Central mostly deal in airline tickets. One excellent source of information is Mundirama (552-3400), just east of Parque Central on Calle 2a. Their friendly, English-speaking agents are more than happy to help out travelers looking for advice on what to see. They're affiliated with American Express, and will hold mail for Amex customers for up to six months. For tour bookings, head to Servisa Internacional (553-3394) on Calle 1 just north of the square. They offer a range of city and regional tours, although their English is less than fluent.
