This place is a hotspot of political protest due to its proximity to the Presidential Palace, though all the demonstrations we saw were peaceful. Concerts and performances are sometimes held here as well. Don't come to this park looking for greenery or shade, it's an expanse of pavement that soaks up the day's heat and radiates it back up at visitors.
