Great Place to Stay

We recently spent five wonderful nights at “The Diving Pelican Inn.” The Inn is located on their beautifully maintained beach, about twelve miles East of La Ceiba. The room was cool, comfortable, clean, neat and well thought out. They provide coffee and condiments in your room for fresh coffee at your convenience. The room had a TV, VCR and DVD. They have a great selection of current and popular movies. A large fully-equipped outside entertainment area (champa) was available for our use. The owners, Jim and Cathryn Fleming are fun, warm and friendly. They are more than happy to share their knowledge. They helped us discover and navigate the local sights, customs and entertainment. They can direct you to most all of the fine local dining establishments. If they offer to cook for you, take them up on it. The food is great. Thanks Jim and Cathryn for a great stay. Up scale great value

The private Chompa with the hamocks and the privacy, I felt like we were staying on at a private estate. Warm friendly hosts. VERY VERY safe feeling which is rare in this part of the world.

I had a thoroughly grat time.Jim and cathryn were perfect hosts and Hank and Baxter were excellent pets. The food was some of the best I've had in all of Honduras. The views of the ocean and the mountains were a beautiful contrast.I'm looking forward to my return this December.Michael Erdman

Chill Out in Style

Great location right on the well maintained beach. Splendid views of Cayos Cochinos. Nearby hotels and restaurants offer excellent fish and seafood as well as lighter fare. You'll feel right at home in the well appointed rooms. Everything works well - not always the case in Central America.
