Situated down the boardwalk, just past the dwarf banana trees and flowering ginger is the restaurant at Pico Bonito Lodge. The spacious dining room has dark mahogany furniture, white table linen and over-sized entry doors.

On the simple menu are five choices for each of the three meals a day and pricing is based on the meal time. Breakfast choices from continental to American or typical are $10.00 each, lunch $12.00 and dinner with choices including beef, chicken fish or pasta are $20.00 all inclusive.

Reservations must be made in advance. For those who need an activity to relax, there are lunchtime specials that include a guided nature walk to the waterfall or butterfly house before or after the meal.

Lunch at the Lodge

This is not a place you will stumble across on your way to somewhere else. The gravel road that winds through the coffee and coca groves are a commitment of time. For me it allows time and distraction to help release the business of the world below...for others the 3 mile journey off the hard road may not be worth the time.
