This is a funky place and a popular hangout at any time of the day. Comfy cushioned sofa-benches and a book exchange mix with wooden restaurant tables under a fan-filled roof and plenty of additional seating outside. The breakfasts are good, smoothies and frappes come in all varieties, and the Copan coffee is some of the best on the island. The place closes at night, except on weekends when special events like the pub quiz and the live jazz pull in the punters and the food on offer, including an unusual Mexican lasagna, is delicious.

Getting There: 50m left of main dock when facing the water. open daytimes plus fri-sun evenings for special events.

its the most comfortable place to chill on all of utila, big cushions to relax on, plenty of fans to keep the incessant heat at bay, and wonderful staff.

Also have quiz nights, live music and much much more.

This restaurant is like a sanctuary to anyone wishing to hide out and relax. The atmosphere, especially during the day, is meditative and reflective with comfortable surroundings and a no hurry no worries attitude. I love Bundu's, and dream of going back to this, my new, happy place.

We loved every minute. The food was awesome and priced right. We tried a new meal everyday and were never disappointed. The staff and service is the best on the island.
