Buses To and From Mexico City:

Local buses depart from the bus terminals at Metros Cuatro Caminos and Rosario (Stand D) in Mexico City (about $2). Opt for the Rosario terminal if your Spanish isn’t that hot as the destinations are more clearly marked. The buses take about an hour to get to the city limits and a further half hour to reach Tepozotlán.

Buses To and From Tula and Queretaro:

Alternatively, second class buses to and from Tula and Queretaro stop at Caseta de Tepotzotlán (the motorway tollbooth). From here you can walk or catch a local bus west down a small road to the town center.
