Getting To and Away From Tula de Allende

Buses To and From Mexico City

There are buses to Tula from Mexico City (leaving from the Terminal del Norte) every 20 minutes. Turn left as you go through the front door and go to Autobuses Vall de Mezquital in Sala 8 at the far end. The trip takes 1.5 hours and costs $4.

Buses To and From Queretaro

There are also buses from Queretaro (2.5 hours) to Tula de Allende. When you get to Tula, turn right out of the bus station, then take the first left and then turn right until you get to a main road. From here you can get buses to the Archaeological site, or turn left again and walk up the road until you see the Zócalo on your left. If you want to walk to the ruins, continue up this road, cross a bridge and continue up to the motorway where following the road left will bring you to the ruins in about half an hour.
