Looks can be deceiving. The outside of the Corona Plaza Hotel Rosarito looks so elegant - it's located on the beach a few steps from the water, and you can hear the ocean. It is just a couple of blocks from downtown, and there is a nice pool outside with a waterfall. But that is the last attraction to the hotel.
The rooms are dirty, including the stained filled tubs and toilets. There is no quality room service, and no heaters in the rooms. They have a “no-guest” policy. The hotel is overpriced for the eminence it advertises.
Considering the location, Rosarito Beach has better options for lodging a few blocks down in the touristy area.
