Sun and sand are great, but nothing makes a trip to Cabo more memorable than a four-wheeling adventure on the Baja peninsula. Group rates are available through different companies. So grab your friends, strap on your helmet and goggles and follow a tour guide along a winding path through the desert to the beach, where you can test out your wheelie or donut-making abilities on an ATV in the hot sand.

Night owls can opt to take a cruise that begins at sunset from a pier downtown; and while the food on board isn’t five-star restaurant quality (the food is buffet style and the drinks may remind some of their college frat party days), the view is stunning— and the live music on board frames the evening perfectly. Party animals should visit the Giggling Marlin, where patrons are greeted by waiters who tempt them into playing musical chairs or doing shots while suspended upside-down.

A trip to “the office,” a stretch of beach where a hearty breakfast is served right on the sand and waiters serve lounging patrons piña coladas as they relax on chaise lounges can soothe the roughest hangover. Water activities are easy to find here—rent jet skis at a fair price, or ride on a banana boat or private party boat.
