Lands End and Lover's Beach

Location:
Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

Beach

By Will Gray

Take a trip to Lover's Beach by water taxi and you get a tour of the fantastic Lands End headland thrown in. Visit Pelican Rock, where a family of Pelicans pose for photos, and also stop off at a Sea lion colony before rounding the headland to see the impressive El Arco, a natural arch at the very end of Baja California. Arrange for a later pick-up and stop at Lover's Beach you can swim in the Pacific on one side then walk two minutes to the other side for a dip in the Sea of Cortez. Just make sure you double confirm your return time and keep an eye out for the water taxi because they have been known to leave people stranded. If so, there is a walkway 45 minutes to town from the Pacific side of the beach.
