Getting To Cholula by Bus

Cholula bound buses come and go from the Estación de Autobús a Cholula on 6 Poniente and 13 Sur in Puebla, as well as from CAPU, the main city bus station.

Any of the buses with a Cholula sign on the windshield will get here eventually. At night especially, be sure to ask for the driver to announce when he´s arrived, otherwise there´s a danger of carrying on to some far-flung village.

The Piramides buses go past the zócalo, making it obvious where you are.

Getting Away From Cholula by Bus

To leave, walk up 3 or 5 Norte to 12 Poniente- the Estrella Roja bus station is in between and has buses that depart to Mexico City (Monday – Sunday, 5:30 a.m. –? 9.45 p.m). For further destinations, take a CAPU bound bus from 14 Oriente to Puebla and go from there.

Taxis To and Away From Cholula

Taxis to and from Cholula and Puebla should cost $6 – 8, depending on your bargaining skills and the time of night.
