Getting around Types:
Getting around

By Lisa Rodan

Cholula is so small that nowhere is further than a 20 minutes walk. The Tourist Tram is a good way to explore on the first few days; it leaves from the stand on the zócalo (the main city square) at 20 minutes past the hour from 10.20 p.m to 5.20 p.m and costs $3.50. Buses have their destinations printed on the front and are a good choice if you want to go from the zócalo to 14 Oriente, where many bars and restaurants are. The same route is a 20- to 25-minute walk. Make sure you get the one saying “4 Caminos/Momoxpan” to avoid taking a detour via Recta de Cholula.
