This restored house and museum is a tribute to Guanajuato’s favorite son, muralist Diego Rivers. He was born and spent his youth at this home, located at 47 Positos Street. It has been restored to how it was during Rivera’s youth, and the upstairs section is dedicated to his art and the art of some of those he inspired. The artwork is fascinating and covers much of Rivera’s career and artistic phases.
Travel Tips: Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM and Sunday from 10:00 to 2:30
