The former convent is now a cultural center exhibiting local costumes and handicrafts, and hosting concerts. The staff is unreliable: do not count on them for information about what’s happening. The pink paint on the church next door is slightly flaking away, but Templo de Santa Rosa’s interior is thoroughly painted in red, white, beige and gold. Its altar is remarkable: clouds similar to whipped cream surround angels and Jesus hanging on the cross, all in light colors. Entrance for both the convent and the church is on 3 Norte, closer to 12 Poniente than to the official address on 14 Poniente.
