Inside, the simple, white walls are sparesely decorated, but the few icons there are do stand out: rows of life-size statues, large dark paintings and gold ornaments. The former Franciscan convent also hosts a school and a library.

Location:
Centro Histórico, Puebla, Mexico

Historical Building Types:
Churches, Monastery, Spiritual/Religious

Here are other activities in and around Centro Histórico that may be of interest: San Cristóbal, Catedral Basílica de la Puebla de los Angeles, La Compañía de Jesús and Iglesia de Santo Domingo de Guzmán, with Capilla del Rosario.
