Museum
This is one of Mexico City's must-see places and there is far too much to take in during just one visit. There are 12 ground floor halls covering the history of pre-Hispanic Mexico, including the Aztecs, Mayans, Olmecs and Teotihaucanos, and above each one is information and artifacts about the corresponding cultures or areas in the present day. One highlight is definitely the world-famous Aztec calendar stone, a magnificent piece of aztec stonework. Single out the places you want to go and plan your time well or you will find the doors close too early.
