Historical Building, Ruin

By Will Gray

The former centre of the Aztec world, this is one of Mexico's must-see ruins and you will need around two hours to take it all in. It may just look like a bunch of crumbling walls from the outside but take to the walkways around the site and you will discover impressive carvings and colourful murals from the past. Carry on to the four-floor museum to see some fantastic pieces of history that were unearthed right where you stand.
