Finding something to eat around the Alameda is seldom a problem. The park itself is packed with vendors selling tortilla-based snacks in all their guises, as well as fruit and a kaleidoscope of sugary candies. Should you want something slightly more formal, there are dozens of restaurants at the junction of Colon and Dr Mora, (just west of Alameda) which are usually packed with businesspeople and good for bargain comidas corridas. There are a few high-end restaurants around here, such as Café del Palacio inside Bellas Artes, but this is not really an area well known for fine dining.
