La Casa de las Sirenas - Bar Mexico City - Mexico

“House of the Mermaids” is the English translation for this lovely bar/restaurant tucked away behind the cathedral. The 17th century colonial mansion was built with stones reclaimed from the ruined Aztec pyramids. Today it celebrates another great Mexican tradition- the Salones Tequila on the ground floor offers no less than 250 varieties of tequila. If you’re in any condition to notice after a few of those, there’s live music too.Mon-Thur 8 a.m.- 11 p.m, Fri-Sat 8 a.m.- 2 p.m., Sunday 8 a.m.- 7 p.m
