Like most hotels around the area, Catedral can get a bit rowdy from street noise, which, combined with the extra-firm beds, might make it hard to sleep. The location (behind a cathedral, as the name suggests) means that all the main historical sites are within easy walking distance. Hotel Catedral also has a chilled-out rooftop garden where you can go to semi-escape the racket. The rooms are clean, comfortable and a good value. Plenty of police officers are around at night, but be sure to be extra cautious in this area. In terms of hotel service, there have also been some complaints from guests arriving late at night to find their reservations cancelled.
