Solipaso is a sort of all-in-one travel agency (specializing in birdwatching), hotel and restaurant. Owned and operated by an American family, the hotel part features three very attractive rooms set around a sunny courtyard very near the center of Alamos. Each room features a private bathroom and purified water. The hotel also has a very small pool. The on-site restaurant, Café del Sol is quite pleasant, and a good place to stop for breakfast or lunch even if you’re not staying there. They offer several tours, including birdwatching tours, trips to local sites of interest and a leisurely raft float down a nearby river.
