Divisadero Walk

Location:
Creel, Mexico

Adventure Tour, Hiking, National Park

By Will Gray

The famed train stops at Divisadero for 15 minutes but there is no way you can do such a fantastic view justice in a quarter of an hour so try to plan for a day trip as well. To hike right out into the canyon you will need to set up a private trip, which can be a little tricky to organise but there is always someone willing to take you at the right price. There are several viewpoints and several trails but none are clearly marked and getting lost can be dangerous so make sure you take a guide or pick up one of the local Tarahumara kids to show you the way.

Price Description: Private transport can be organised at Casa Margarita or with Oscar from Berti's for approx 200 Pesos p/p round trip, 100 Pesos p/p more to guide, depending on numbers.
