Location:
Along La Costera
Acapulco, Mexico
Beach
Acapulco offers beaches for all tastes and all are easily accessible from anywhere along the Costera road. West of town are the small bay beaches of Caleta and Caletilla, both of which are tightly packed with restaurants at the roadside, umbrellas and seats on the beach and people in the water. For a much quieter experience head to Playa Hornos, which is a palm-backed beach with good swimming (check out the bizarre backwards waves because of the slope of the beach). If you like to party on the beach then head to the hotel zone at Playa Condesa, where you can drag your two-for-one beers to the beach and listen to the booming tunes from the bars above.
