This place has seen better days and has now been overtaken by its neighbours in quality. Rooms are clean but simple with quite shabby attached bathrooms but its setting, amongst the leafy forest, is pleasant and certainly better than staying in the town. It boasts a small shallow dip pool but it seems it is often so dirty it cannot be used.
Getting There:
From Palenque take a taxi (30 Pesos) or one of the passing collectivos for 7 Pesos to El Panchan

75%A bit run down, has seen better days, but undoubtedly a visit worth your while... great location in the midst of the forest + good atmosphere. Fairly cheap restaurant nearby.
