Palenque is a great place to be a tourist, with a variety of sights to see in the region including the ever-famous Palenque ruins. Most tour operators offer the same destination options, though not all offer tours in English. Be sure to ask if entry fees are included, as some are transportation only. Palenque is a great place to be a tourist, with a variety of sights to see in the region including the ever-famous Palenque ruins. Most tour operators offer the same destination options, though not all offer tours in English. Be sure to ask if entry fees are included, as some are transportation only. Usual destinations are Agua Azul/Misol-Ha and Bonampak/Yaxchilan, though many more destinations are offered. All agencies also offer transport to Flores, Guatemala (which is close to the impressive Mayan ruins of Tikal). Most agencies are found on the main Av. Juarez drag, as well as a couple in Panchan and around the Zócalo.
