Turtle, Whale, and Dolphin Spotting in Puerto Escondido - Other Activity Puerto Escondido - Mexico

Whether you're an animal or ocean lover or just enjoy the thought of getting out on the water on a beautiful day, Puerto Escondido offers a variety of marine animal tours. Visitors can hire a boat and guide to take them to some of the best places to watch dolphins and whales leaping out of the water. January and February are the best times to see the marine mammals. Turtles, though, are found around Puerto Escondido all year and many companies offer tours so that visitors can go swimming with them. Be sure to visit Playa Ventanilla between the months of June and August, when the baby turtles are released from their hatching grounds.
