Most of the hotels in Puerto Escondido are located on Calle Del Morro by Playa Zicatela or on the Adoquín. These are in the middle of all the action. There are also quieter hotels located further away, and all it takes is a short taxi ride to the beach, restaurants, or shopping. Puerto Escondido is not a resort town, so there are only a couple of resort-type lodgings. Most hotels are mid-range, but there is a variety of places for backpackers and the budget-conscious as well.
