Carmen's Cafecito - Restaurant Puerto Escondido - Mexico

Come in when its time for a break from the beach, sit right down, and have a relaxing lunch in the shade. The menu has something for everyone, including some vegetarian dishes. However, some of the ones labeled "vegetarian" include fish, so be careful to understand what you're ordering. The cafecito also has a bakery with a variety of goods. Carmen's is a very popular place with both tourists and locals. While the Mexican and American food on the menu is delicious, the service is slow and less than attentive. Your table scraps can be given to the dog that hangs out there; he is always happy for a treat. There is another location on the Boulevard Benito Juárez with the same food and bakery.

Carmen´s Cafecito specializes in breakfast, with an expansive selection of well price baked goods. For other meals they mainly serve Mexican food and sandwiches on their famous baked bread. Carmen’s is such a popular place; they recently expanded by taking over the building next door.
