Santa Lucia's Temple - Historical Building San Cristóbal de las Casas - Mexico

Santa Lucia is not only the name of a church, which matches the sky with its bright blue and white exterior, but also serves as the namesake for the surrounding part of town. Mixing Neo-Gothic and Neo-Classic elements, the interior of the one-room Santa Lucia church is filled with vibrant red and white brocaded pew tops complete with an ornate dome-shaped altar that is usually littered with gifts of money and candles.
