Welcome to S.Cristobal a magic town .

Welcome to La Grigua, a comfortable Bed and Breakfast situated in the colonial city of San Cristobal de las Casas, the cultural capital of Chiapas , Mexico. San Cristobal lies in the heart of the 2,300m high Altos, surrounded by Indigenous villages and positioned on the Ancient Mayan Route "Ruta Maya" which even today can be retraced in it's original historic atmosphere.

Our B&B can be found within a short walking distance from the main Arts&Crafts Market and the splendid antique church of S. Domingo.

If you wish to make the most of an alternative type holiday there are different options: Eco-tourism -visits to Indigenous villages. Tours to famous archaeological sites e.g Palenque, Bonampak etc.
