I-Latina - Restaurant Guadalajara - Mexico

Do not panic when arriving at I-Latina. This old warehouse that faces the railroad tracks actually has one of the trendier restaurants in Guadalajara. This is the place where the hip and intellectual crowd go to see and be seen.

The kitsch décor symbolizes the irreverent and antiestablishment style of “La I”. Floor is cement, chairs and tables are plastic, and the china looks like it belonged to your grandmother. Details were cleverly selected to recreate an eclectic cosmopolitan vibe.

A fusion cuisine (based on Thai and Mediterranean accents) inspires a limited yet trustworthy menu, which is wisely supplemented by creative daily specials. Try the buey a la tailandesa (tender meat in peanut sauce) or the pargo relleno (stuffed snapper flavored with ginger). 

Remember to make reservations; otherwise arm yourself with patience 'cause you probably will have to wait about an hour to get in. The place is always fully packed.
