Chai - Restaurant Guadalajara - Mexico

A kinda smug, yuppie-friendly café, the downtown Chai has a blah breakfast buffet but plenty of tables and cushioned places to lounge when you want to check your E-mail via WiFi while eating pancakes served with honey instead of syrup. The popular, if a bit crowded, café has lots of windows for people watching. This is a good place for chatting or reading the paper, despite the pulsing music. Graphic red flowers spruce up the walls, in harmony with black-and-white photos, wooden chairs and marble tabletops. Also on the menu: paninis, omelets, salads, eggs, sandwiches, liquor-laced coffee.
