La Rinconada - Restaurant Guadalajara - Mexico

La Rinconada inhabits an old mansion with pretty details like stained glass windows that catch the light in the courtyard, which is a pleasant, graceful place to sit in solid wooden chairs among the archways. The pianist is friendly, as are the waiters, who jump to accommodate families. The "international" all-you-can-eat lunch buffet (68 pesos, 2 - 5 p.m. Monday - Saturday) appears small, but more than satisfies, with tasty high-quality chicken, pork and beef, plus soup, vegetables, salad fixings from garbanzo beans to pickled beets, bread, chips, salsas and more.
