Owner‘s Description

Our program is very unique and non-traditional in its structure. It is designed for people not only interested in immersing themselves in a beginner or intermediate Spanish course but for those who also appreciate an active lifestyle. We are a school that offers you the opportunity to learn both Spanish, surfing and Hatha yoga all in the same week. There are five different program combinations to choose from and all classes will be tailored to fit each students particular needs and goals. We like to make sure that everyone feels that he/she has been given special attention, so we keep our enrollment to 4 students per week. No prior experience is needed, and beginners are especially welcomed. All that is required is that our students are competent swimmers. Students may sign up for one of these following program combinations:

Surfing and Spanish * Surfing and Hatha yoga * Surfing only * Spanish only * Spanish and Hatha

Spanish classes are taught under a palapa, thatched roof made with palm fronds, by bilingual, experienced teacher with years of practice teaching students of all levels. Few places in the world have the learning conditions that exist on the beaches of Sayulita. With its soft and forgiving waves, the beachfront is a perfect place for our surf classes to be held, and all of them take place in designated areas to accommodate the needs of beginner surfers. Good quality surf equipment is provided free daily in addition to the private surf lesson allowing student to practice new skills before or after class.

Practice Hatha yoga at Om Yoga Sayulita with certified yoga instructors Jill and Daniel whom are trained to accommodate all varieties of levels and physical needs. The school is located in the town of Sayulita,45 minutes north of Puerto Vallarta.

Getting There:

The easiest way to get there is to arrange flights to and from Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. From here it is possible to take a bus or taxi. You can take a taxi from the airport to Sayulita for about $60 US.
